The story is great, and the actors portraying the characters do an excellent job. John Moffat once again perfectly captures Poirot's essence in his portrayal of the character. The ending of this one didn't impress me, but as with most Agatha Christie books it's a good mystery.
I purchased this gift for my wife, who is an Agatha Christie fan. She said the full-cast version is the best way to listen to this book, and it is done beautifully by the producer.
A wonderful and super interesting Poirot story.

I would have given this 5 stars except I thought John Moffat's portrayal of Hercule Poirot to be the weak link of this otherwise entertaining audio book. His accent kept going from Belgian to British. Before I got used this, I actually thought that the character had switched from Hercule to another person as he lost his accent. What I liked about the book was it wasn't just one person portraying different characters. This sounded as if I was listening to the radio plays of my youth (I'm not ancient; there were radio plays into the early 60's). There were different actors for the various characters, background noises, sound effects; all very entertaining. The story is the usual Hercule Poirot, which means delightful.
Absolutely delightful! Enjoyed every minute of it!
