What can I say, it’s a book: staples, paper back, words and the characters are the Bernstein Bears in the book.lolIt’s not too long of a book and has information about different fire trucks, gear and what a fireman does. My son liked the book since they love Bernstein Bears and it was my sons birthday, fireman themed. I could tell it wasn’t exactly written like the older Bernstein Bear books because it was written I believe by the son. Overall it was a fun and cute book and I would get it after getting it and reading it.
Tons of fun for your toddler! A colorful adventure of the Berenstain Bears -- a fun addition to the series. A couple reviewers are comparing this to one of the Berenstain Bears "First Time Books" and don't like that the story isn't believable! No, it's supposed to be a fun way to learn about what firefighters do and how they help us! It's every little kids dream to ride in a firetruck and that's what the whole Bear Family gets to do. Fun!
Great book for little ones who love Berenstain Bears and/or Firefighting. Is a quick read. My 2 yr old stayed engaged throughout. My 6 yr old liked the descriptions of the firehouse, truck types, and equipment. Keeps up with the same theme as the rest of the series - Sweet, educational, and a fun story. Glad we added it to our collection.
Great book. My little guy loves the berenstain bears and fire trucks. I just wish the cousin didn't bring them to an active fire. That just wouldn't happen, and it might set kids up for disappointment on a trip to an actual fire station.
Good story. My kids like it.I thought it was kind of unrealistic with letting the family drive to a fire in the fire truck since they know a firefighter. Maybe that's a real thing, but I'm just glad my kids didn't fixate on wanting to do that.
I have a love-hate relationship with this book, lol. My 5 year old daughter announced she wants to be a fire fighter, so we got her this and the Fire Fighter Barbie for Christmas so she could learn more about it. This book goes into great detail about what a fire fighter's day is like - perfect for her curious mind! However, the topic doesn't particularly interest me, and there is not much of a story line or cute rhyme to this book...meaning I get SUPER bored reading it, lol. I'm sure once she's reading on her own, she can enjoy all the details of this book without me having to sit through. Love what it teaches her, hate that it feels like it never ends (but that's just my own lack of interest). Great book for kids :)
Love Berenstain Bears.
Any and every Berenstain Bear book is great. All my grandkids liked them. Now, we are starting on the great grandkids. You can't go wrong buying any and all of their books.
