I bought this language tool for a trip to Kenya. This was a fun, convenient way to learn key words and phrases in Swahili. Although most of the people I met spoke English, my efforts at Swahili were warmly welcomed and appreciated. I was also able to understand many conversations in Swahili around me, which helped me feel comfortable and more confident. My rating is only four stars because it is an awkward size, less compact than I wanted it to be. This was a practical tool, but I wanted it to fold up smaller.
This is a good pocket guide but is awkward to maneuver. The category sort was not as good I as I had hoped.
Its ok but once you meet the Massai you will find there are different dialects.
