This book kept me wanting more and more from the beginning of book 1 until I finished book 10. I catch myself thinking about Nath Dragon even now, weeks after I finished reading it. I really enjoyed the characters in the book, and found them to be valuable to the story line. I loved the premise of the book and was thrilled all the way though. I hated to see the story end, would have loved to see it continue into more books. This author (Craig Halloran) has great writing ability, and I look forward to reading more of his works. I spent many nights reading the books and read until my kindle kept falling from my hands (that's the only reason I would stop). I highly recommend these books and this author. Get the book and read it, I don't think you will be disappointed, I wasn't. Good reading!
f you have not read any of Mr. Halloran's work, this is a great place to start. The adventures of Nath and his companions is just lain fun! its dark, funny and fast moving. Craig Halloran writes as fast as you can read and has created a fantastic world of Nalzambor where danger and beauty walk hand in hand. The characters are enthralling and very believable and become your friends and enemies alike. You will want the next book in hand when you finish, trust me. So if you are looking for a fun, epic and fast paced adventure with great characters and a fantastic world of Elves, Dwarves, Dragons , Humans and the ugliest bad guys ever, oh and a hero with great hair , This is it!!!
I read my first Nath Dragon novel in this series thanks to ohfb.com and was immediately hooked. I had previously read much of Craig Halloran's Darkslayer series, which I thoroughly enjoyed. But Nath Dragon was different!There are many"coming of age" novels, usually about an adolescent youth just getting started in life beyond one's birthplace. With Nath Dragon, on the other hand, we are dealing with the coming of age of someone already hundreds of years old.I do not want to spoil the fun but Halloran has created deep and complex characters that kept me fascinated through Volume Ten. I strongly recommend the Chronicles of Dragon to anyone who has the patience to read something longer than a trilogy. I promise you will enjoy Nath's journey!
I have read thousands of fantasy/magic adventure books and Craig's excellent writing has brought a group of diverse characters with intricate relationship to each other that continue from book to book, that I haven't seen in a while. And there are Dragons! I read the second set of books in a record time, it was really hard to put down. And even though the story ended, Craig did allow for another story to pick up where this one ended, with more adventures to continue for Nath Dragon.
Entertaining! Fast paced! Humourous! After finishing all 10 books, I wanted more and so did my kids. Now onto Craig Halloran's "Dragonslayer" Series.A little different style, but equally entertaining. If you like Sword and Sorcery, these are must reads. Download them, now and get started!
I love how the book was descriptive of each and every character and how the action never stop I cannot wait to see how the Adventures Continue in the next series.

Craig, you have done an outstanding job of telling Nath's story. All the good that comes from being faithful, trusting & believing in your fellow friends. We'll said!!
Loved these books. They were full of family love. A fantastic time of surprises and adventure with lots of travel. Book that keeps you on your seat four more.
