Thie recipes are not family friendly, mAny of the recipes have very little spices or seasonings. Dissaponted
Extremely good cook book for children ,interesting recipes ,very colourful,easy to do
I love this cookbook. It is great for kids learning to cook. My 11 year old picks a recipe each weeks and can make it from start to finish on his own. The directions are easy to follow with great pictures. The pictures show the ingredients for each recipe and the finished product. I like that the recipes aren’t kitschy and they aren’t just simple things like a sandwich cut into a fun shape like a lot of kid cookbooks tend to do. They are actual (albeit simple...like the title says) meals that adults can enjoy too.
The author of this cookbook has advertised his book as a Disney product, however shoppers should know this is NOT A DISNEY COOKBOOK. It is just a book someone made and pasted Disney pictures into. We were highly disappointed that Amazon allows this fraud, not to mention that the copyright infringement.
Bought for my 21 year old niece. Geared towards little kids, so I returned it, but would be a great first cookbook for kids

I love love love this book. I checked it out at the library and it's so easy to use for me (who has a hard time with normal recipies) I'd say the one downfall is because its so basic you may need to add spices to your liking based on what the recipe is such as Tiana's jambalaya..no way anyone in NO could get away with that let alone Tiana with her skills. I will totally be actually purchasing this as a staple in my cooking! We are using it for dinner and movie nights which is fun fun!
