Great trauma/emergency nursing text for both novice and experienced professionals. Both text & illustrations are great references. Though this 6th edition was published in 2006, it is still the latest edition released for the TNCC certification.UPDATE: January 10, 2014The first TNCC courses using 7th edition materials will begin after February 2014. I have not yet seen a 7th edition text available for TNCC students - only updated instructor materials.
Book was in excellent condition, is current and what they are teaching from now.
So essential to Emergency nursing! This book and course will improve not only trauma flow but also general ED assessment flow, skill and critical thinking. This is an excellent book, literally walks you through every system, what to watch for and appropriate interventions. A must have for all ED nurses!

As expected. Bought this to study for my upcoming class, used but useable.
While I know that the 7th edition is out, is you find it under a few hundred dollars, I would be shocked. I am redoing my TNCC in a couple of months, and this has already hit the things I don't see all that often, is a great book.
