Thomas is wonderful but please bring back Rosy, misty island wiff and other lesser know machines. Rosy and Molly are female characters that little girls need to see. thank you. Please tell the writers not to make Mrs. Hatt, such a scary and critical mother. She should be supportive of Sir Topham Hatt for young girls. Sincerely, J. Wital
Spoiler alert: I judged a book by its cover. Would any rational person assume anything other than Thomas traveling to the moon by this title and cover though? Look at him. He's ON the moon. This may sound a bit Apollo-moon-landing-conspiracy-theory-ish, but Thomas never landed on the moon. I had this book marked "save for later" for nearly a year until it was my kid's third birthday, and I decided to splurge and spend $3.99 — I'm a great mom. While anticipating its arrival, I imagined all the many way a train could travel to the moon and came up with approximately zero ways, but I couldn't wait to be marveled at what our cheeky Number One Engine had in store. BUST MY BUFFERS. He never got an inch off the ground. Confusion and delay! What!? He took a bunch of snotty nosed kids to a science fair?! That's IT???????????? HE GOT A PICTURE OF HIMSELF IN FRONT OF A BACKDROP OF THE MOON????? THAT'S IT?!?! Deplorable.

Cute book that combines my son's two favorite things, space and Thomas! Liked it so much, gave it as a birthday favor to the kids who came to my son's bday party.
